Suggestion on putting pump back into the fuel tank. Use a wire to go from outlet to inlet of pump. Tie a piece of dental flose on the wire, and pull it back through. Tie the dental flose onto the outlet part. It pulls right into the hole. Cut the dental floss off.

Suggest modification to plastic cannister capturing fuel pump by either opening fuel feed holes at base of cannister or cross drill cannister to improve fuel flow to screen filter at pump base.

Long is for aftermarket tanks. Short for stock tank.

I don’t think so. The long one was the right length for the stock setup. I think the short is for the other side of the filter.

I'd rather just use a lectron carb. I hear the 23's do improve power a decent bit, but my 19 runs just the way I like and I never have to mess with jetting. I'm not hating on the new tech for those that want it, it just sucks I won't have carb option in the future unless I go Beta, Sherco, etc. or do some "donor bike" type situation which would end up being more complicated and expensive and defeat the purpose of having the simple carb bike.
