Apparently he's had a stint in a mental health facility, and at one point was back serving drinks in a bar. Sam, however, continues to go through life completely unscathed, which is a bit annoying.

The fact that Opie takes the "Least Professional Broadcaster" absolutely seriously shows you just how dumb Opie is. Sure, there are facts in there, but to not recognize that a lot of that documentary is dripping with sarcasm is absurd. Also, I'm so happy that Erock confirmed something I suspected for years, which is that Opie never intended to split the show because he knew if he did, the entire staff would want to go with Ant and Jimmy. When Opie signed, you know he talked to the bosses and demanded to get Erock and some of his old staff to make it look to the audience like people liked Opie and wanted to work with him. It's perfectly clear: Opie only claimed he wanted to split the show once Ant got fired and the staff seemingly didn't have any options other than Opie. If Ant never got fired, Opie would've shut his sissy mouth and let the staff carry him into millions of dollars.
