Kyle, there is a need to develop a meter that can test those stun guns before you go into cardiac arrest. Sheet metal connected to a volt meter that can hold a reading in mega volts might be a start. Good knowing you’re not pulling any “punches” on these reviews. Getting a real world review is a great part of maintaining a great business reputation. Thanks again.

The Full-Combat Foam Sword looks fun. I was surprised that you didn't hit the wooden dummy with the Hidden Red Blade Baton. As I've said many times, I worry about using anything with threaded connections in a high-impact strike or series of strikes. Even so, this one looks cool. The Black Tactical Nightstick appears to be a great weapon in that family for those who have trained in the tonfa or the police baton. Unfortunately, that doesn't include me, but if I were trained in those techniques, I'd love to have one of these. It's great that you showed how the Acrylic Nunchucks are excellent for working on forms but not for actual impact.

That Tonfa looked sick! I’d love one like that, idk if I can get one in the uk though, however I have made some of my own baton type weapons out of hollow steel layers and some with copper outer layers. All covered in different tapes like gorilla and black electrical tape to make textured ergonomic grips. I also made a decent classic police truncheon too, has a stud on the tip and on the buttcap and hits really hard too (similar length to that other baton you showed). Yeah I’ve seen those acrylic pair of nunchucks too they look amazing, I’ve owned a bunch of different types of nunchucks, but I also have 2 metal ones (one with chain I bought a while back and another with cord I made myself) and imo they’re the best ones, not just because of how hard they hit, but because they’re more durable than the ball bearing ones. The top metal collar can get wrecked and dented pretty easily when they drop and crash into stuff, I’ve done it a bunch of times too, but the other types tend to last longer. In fact even my cord ones are easy enough to repair should the cord break and they were easy enough to build too.

Wouldn't look as nice, but mounting the baring onto thin rod (kinda like a knife tang) and casting the acrylic around that should make those nunchucks pretty indestructible without increasing costs. They also make some collapsible nunchucks and that you can fit onto a belt that are pretty cool, but even a full-sized set can fit quite comfortably in a scout carry (small of the back). Nunchucks get a bad rap, but i think they're pretty underrated as a defense tool.

First box to open and your expression, "priceless". If I may suggest, next time you are unfortunately testing another stun gun, ask Amanda to shock you on the side of your hip. I've done it myself, through jeans and a belt, and it shoots down my leg. I would imagine that would be a better target if you're interested in trying it. A quick split-second shock is not going to do too much, but if a potential victim of a crime can hold contact at that point for a second or two, it should drop the assailant. Just a thought Kyle, don't invite me to send you a video of me doing it. Your Nunchuck moves are fascinating and I really do appreciate that you give these things a test. When I train people, I don't like to let them leave the school thinking they are more prepared than they actually are, it wouldn't be fair, and I see that's what you're doing. When you watched it break, the way you just looked at it was hilarious. Those tonfa moves were incredible, we've only trained with them as self-defense, very little offensive moves, so I learned something. All in all, great Weapons Wednesday, looking forward to next week, until then, stay safe, be well.

I still have my first practice nunchucks, they are covered in rubber like those full contact swords. You know what's funny? I used them to practice crazy moves until I could pull them off ten times in a row without hitting myself, sometimes 30 times actually, and only then I would try to do them with a real nunchuck. Every time, the first try, I went and hit myself with the real nunchucks, always, especially if the stick had to pass near my head. Good times :D

I like that foam sword. I remember the first foam/pvc swords that I used over 30 years ago broke pretty easily. They didn't break at the handle like how your old one did, but usually 3 to 8 inches off the tip would brake. Your foam sword looks like it takes more of a beating, so that's great. Cool. But I could not find it on the website. What category/subcategory is it in?

Good video. I like the nightstick. I definitely like the points at the end. It would take a while to learn but it would probably be effective. Can't say the same about nun-chucks. using nun-chucks is impractical to begin with. according to some they are less practical than a simple long stick. how much of that is true I don't know but it seems pretty difficult to hit with them with force without them hitting you in the hand. and if they break like those did well that is not ideal. I like the knife in the button. button has strong hit and knife is a good addition. I do however think that the edges would be sharpened as well. I like the fact that you can elongate this weapon. The only real drawback is that you have to unscrew before you can use the knife. But I don't really see a way to fix this. I think it's fine it just needs a sharp edges.

Also since I’m from the UK I’ve never really come into contact with stun guns, or tasers either, out of curiosity does the pain feel like a cross between a small burn and an electric shock? It sounds like that’s what it would do, and also if a guy grabs you and you stun him, do you both get shocked? I know electricity jumps and people can give you static shocks through touch, so it would be interesting to find out, I also wonder what it would be like against thick clothing like a jacket.
@Karatemart2 жыл бұрын
It’s funny you ask that. I actually tested that theory in one of my videos about self-defense weapons. It only stuns the person you are stunning…not multiple people or back to yourself. The pain feels like someone digs their nails into you…it’s pretty painful. Thanks so much for watching!

Hi Marina! I don’t handle customer service, so I didn’t see your messages, but I asked the customer service team and they said they responded to your emails, but never received a reply back.

Pretty. Sure, the risk strap is a kill switch. So, if attacker rips it out of your hand and strap gets dislocated from the stun gun it no longer works.

You need to let people know that if you use stun guns on drunk people, it sobers them up immediately. This can be good or bad sometimes.

I absolutely love this nightstick. I didn’t think I would like it as much as I do, but I tested it pretty hard in this video and it held up. I hope you are having a great weekend, Rylee!
