I took on a pack of opposition back in the late 90's... Seeing they were lining up around the building I lined up 15-20 rockets on a log at the perfect angle.... then as they started to come out from behind cover...I lit them all at once with a long stick out of the campfire... let's just say they ran & ducked while getting hit with multiple projectiles flying at them... that's my bottle rocket story. 👈🏽👍🏼🇺🇸

I got to shoot a Mk 153 SMAW bunker buster. It had 9mm spotting round that had the same trajectory as the rocket. The one I got to shoot had the scope removed so I had to use th iron sights. Those sights where way off. I had to use Kentucky Windage and I had to aim below the bunker and way to left to get close to the bunker. They had money on me that I would completely miss the bunker. The rocket went straight through the bunker slit. The instructor said that was a perfect hit and would have taken out the bunker. I should have taken that bet. The other Rockets I worked on was the HAWK Missiles. Now that's a rocket!!!

CG ammo tubes in Swedish are called "bumpa" iirc. And ruck frames with pack removed to carry multiple rounds is common practice in Swedish armed forces afaik.

First, did CCW Safe really tell you guys they would cover "self defense" by rocket? Second, I like the new intro video, way to freshen it up. Third, please provide coordinates (approximate is fine) to the location of any discarded AT-4 with laser aiming modules. Thank you.

The Carl G and RPG-7 works the same way. Both of them are recoilless rifles (rpg doesn’t have any rifling but yeah). Both of them have rocket assisted rounds to boost the range after fire.

To anwer Coch question : yes there exists a LAW M72 training version, called the M190. We called it in our time the LAW Chalk because it shot a subcal "rocket" with a chalk head, indicating your (eventual) hit on target.

Witnessed a few At4 releases in Iraq. The blast is pretty gnarly. I'm not sure what guidance system it uses but all the ones I saw fired hit right on the money.

Carl Gustaf is a swedish gun that was developed just after ww2. The original is a beast to carry, 40 plus pounds. The new ones improved with weight and bang and range.

I remember using those M72 LAW trainers where you put 9mm tracer round when i did my duty at FDF. Those had trouble with light primer strikes and so we had to re-cock them pretty often. I didn't get to use a real LAW but we were all trained extensively on how to use those as in case of war the most likely enemy (Russia) would use large numbers of AFV...

I was thinking...if you were monitoring the target, a single guy on a smoke break, and surprise him with a Javelin, I guess that you can't actually see the "hit", like you do with .338, or similar, more like the target seems to vanish, after "a bit of a bang'... probably none of that bs "red mist" effect...
