I honestly don’t remember how long I’ve had the bones Swiss big ball 6 but it feels close to a decade at this point. Probably clean them every couple years. Worth every penny!

I've tried quite a few different brands of bearings over the years. Bones, Bronson, Luckys, Shake Junt, Modus, Independent, SKF, etc. I've never had any problems with Bones. Sure I've had Reds seize up or blow out, but they're super good for how cheap they are. 👍

Cheap? Ha!

I have RACE Reds in my cruiser board and they are fast and smooth. Especially bombing hills. Way easier to align than using a spacer

Great video guide to Bones Bearings. Been skating Bones since Bones Swiss dropped in the 80s. On Race Reds for about a year now and they are my favorite.

I used to skate, but.. i did like Bones Swiss and Super Reds. Bronson was probably my favorite bearings, so I'd recommend getting those over bones.

Bronsons are super good too! I had some Bronson G2's and they fell apart kind of quickly, but then I got the RAWs and they were really good. 🛹👍 - Tim

After a good 12 years of constantly buying cheap bearing and having them blowout, I think I'm finally gonna take the big jump and buy some Bones Swiss. I realy hope they last a good amount of time

I'm about to invest in some I did have Swiss regular or big ball when I was 13-17 and skating nyc every day Sometimes snapping a deck 5 hours after u got it.. (the shops would refund cuz they knew it was quality control always) but point is I had reds for a year and they'd break doing stairs or drops but once I got the Swiss not only were they fast affff but after a few months I wasn't worried and had em for years of teenage nyc skating then drinking etc pure debauchery and they didn't skip a beat. Hope this helps ya.

@@gregbey9237I’ve never had a good experience with reds. So im not too confident in the bones brand, whatever the consensus is, but Im really tempted to just get swiss instead of semi decent off brand ones and go for the real deal

But how about speed skating, which bearings are good. Inline or quad skating ?
