Thanks for the review - it is a very desirable bolt action pen from TT. And I like the keen eye of the people from TT - that colour blue (with the specks of metal in) is very very cool indeed.

I like the plastic versions better as the size is more comfortable to me than the narrow pens

The regular ones are totally fine for me, but the extra girth of the plastic ones is good with the weight of the pen.

I'm guessing the Standard size will take a Pentel Energel refill. If so, this is going to get their Blue-Black in it. My favourite blue-black refill!

I wish Will would start up production of the Gist fountain pens. Why did they abandon that? They'd be like Ian Schon by now.

I think the market just wasn't there for him when he made the Gist. I do think he'll do an FP again, but I don't have any special insight on that.

How much was the aluminum pen at the SF Penshow? I wish they would make it available on the website but apparently they have no plans to. I think the anodized colors look pretty cool though.
