i love the fact that you pointed out real users' issue like the top velcro pouches getting in the way... only users would know. Thanks for this review! Liked and subscribed.

You, sir, are a true REVIEWER, unlike other Previewers. I thought I was the only one having trouble with the supposedly CCW compartment. I actually replaced the darn zipper with a strip of Velcro on the inside for the application. the two small mesh pouches inside are just as floppy as you said, so I put a whole panel of velcro on the mesh pouches. Thank god they work properly now! By the way, Do you see the 2 loops on either side of the admin pouch? the 2 seemingly out-of-place loops? That's where the compression straps are supposed to go, so you can have quick access to the admin compartment.

nice. i remember your preview video. ive had my eye on the specialist half day pack, because i don't need laser cut molle and 25 liters is just enough. i will take your pros and cons into consideration. thanks for sharing.

Thanks. FT does make a smaller version of the TACTIX One DAY Plus pack if your interested in it. It looks to be the same design, just smaller. www.firsttactical.com/products/tactix-0-5-day-backpack

Robert Hisle's Channel yes, I know. Not a big fan of laser cut molle tho, which makes the specialist more to my needs.

Thanks for the coupon tip, I'm considering buying the half day pack as an emergency bugout bag as we currently have bushfires threatening us and I realised I don't even have a decent bag for packing my essentials into. the half day bag costs $229.99 AUD in Australia, the 1-day pack costs $249.99 AUD. I am thinking for my situation I would be best to have some sort of large waterproof storage in my boot, (Trunk for US) all the time with useful but not emergency essentials in my car ready to go all the time, thinking a large Pelican case and then have a bag with my essentials that you really can only pack last minute as they are in general use or in need of to higher security to have in your car such as insurance documents, you don't exactly want to store those in your car in case something happens to the car itself. thinking of that a fireproof safe in the house would be a good idea except generally in the case of bushfires and streets or community level loss of homes, generally its quite a long period of time until homeowners get access to their houses to sift through the ruins and really need insurance documents for example as soon as possible. Btw, personally I think the black is ideal, no it's not camo but really, are you likely to be tramping in the bush and wanting to hide? Not very likely and in the unlikely case of wanting to hide, black really blends in pretty much in all situations, its also not going to scream, TACTICAL when in general public.

I like your comment about the bushfires. Several years ago when I was just getting into Preparedness I had a small forest fire take place less then a kilometer from my apartment and I just got a bugout bag assembled. It was a SPEC OPS Brand The Pack. I didn't need to evacuate but I was thankful to have that thing ready to go. It really does lower your stress when you have a plan in place along with the right tools to go with it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Sir, I hope I'm not misunderstanding here. So the shoulder straps can be adjusted LOWER to fit shorter torso, just like in Eberlestock Halftrack?

Skip to 4:04 if you don't care about computer and personal BS. Also get ready for rambling... Dude doesn't understand how to use the compression straps either.. Doesn't understand the zipper pulls are different to help know what pocket your using.. But he uses a taurus handgun for CCW so clearly he's not the brightest crayon in the box.

dont understand the concept of razor cut molle...low profile? they do still look tactical. save weight? think they are heavier than traditional molle webbings. And these tactical packs with tons of pouches are not idealistic for hiking or camping..I still use and trust my ALICE packs, just one big bucket style pack :)
@rjhisle19736 жыл бұрын
Laser Cut MOLLE is suppose to save weight and be stronger. TBH I don't know about that. What I do know is that it doesn't get snagged on random stuff as much as normal MOLLE and it is a little more difficult to attach pouches compared to normal MOLLE. I mostly feel the same way about hiking backpacks too. A few pockets are okay, but too many pockets just take up space and add weight. for hiking/camping I prefer a few pockets to keep my essentials organized, but that's it.
