@@fernandodisola6675 Hahah! ABS braking systems. LOL. I do understand the why for disc brakes and safety, but that mainly applies to rainy/wet road conditions. Oh, I just picked my bike up a little while ago and did my first ride on it. You're going to be VERY happy with it. And the rim brakes are awesome, especially since I am staying with carbon wheels that have alloy rims--that is a better braking surface.

Reminds me of Magnus Bäckstedt when while commentating last years TT at the Road World Championships he was asked if he noticed that practically everybody was using disc brakes on their TT bikes even though they are less aero and heavier. He just said that it is obviously a great advantage even in a time trial to have brakes that actually work.

Technically the bike Pogacar won the TdF on is the rim brake version of this bike. If you watch the stages all the hard mountain stages he chose a rim brake version and for the flat or last stage he used the disc brake for marketing/promo purposes.

Same design everywhere.

True, but in pro cycling, it comes down to winning so more sponsors want to sponsor you and will give more money to be shown on the jersey. So the better the bike functionally, the better chance you have of winning. You would think they could save some weight somewhere to bring the build down to 15lbs but I guess they do that in his rim brake version.
