Is it for the tropical weather or what could be the reason for it?
@Maher-ub6vu Жыл бұрын
@@compounder3850 it's always been a cultural thing here, and add on to that it's a destination place to live, so people move here and want to "Keep up with the Joneses" And spend above their means, if you are in sales which I was for over 20 years you like it, because people are always buying, but as someone that is now very focused on financial literacy and the value of investing wisely I see it even more than I always have. I hope that helps!
@slchance8839Ай бұрын
@@compounder3850 i think it's the high density of pretty young women from Central America and South America. These YOUNG women are easy to impress with flashy cars, clothes, and jewelry. Therefore, to compete for these women, the men --- ALL the men --- have to have to flash to get the girl. This affects NORMAL men and women b/c the normal guys look around and think they are behind. The normal women look around, and feel left out, socially, and want to be part of "the scene" of hot cars, table service and yacht parties. The key, i think, is the young AGE. These young girls (1)learn to manipulate AVERAGE men while simultaneously (2)get manipulated by ABOVE-average men. This SINGLE demographic negatively affects the rest of the "normal" people around them who will fake rich to be part of the scene. .

I have challenged myself to put away 50% of my monthly income into stock options which is quite easy since I live frugal without debt. I work as an account executive, and make over $20k. $10k goes into dividends, and the other $10k covers my my food plus living expenses. I am seeing improvements in my portfolio, dividends look certain, but I have to attribute this to only to guidance of a licensed fund manager Emily Lois Parker who allocates funds to a plethora of assets. I have to stay disciplined, and remember that I’m in it for the long term. Good luck to everyone and thanks for the great video.

Your premise that Michael Jackson and Nic Cage were “worse off than most of us” is patently false. First off, they were living an incredible lifestyle. Now I know what you’re saying, that’s the whole point of your video is the lifestyle you’re living isn’t a good idea long term. but living the lifestyles that they were living and having the experiences that they were having that none of us will ever have has incredible value. It may not have long-term value, but it has incredible value. Second, while they were both in debt, they never had to give up a Lifestyle Either of them that was greater than almost 99.9% of the people on earth. So, while paying off their debts, at least in the example of Cage as Jackson died, they are still able to maintain a better lifestyle than all of us. Finally, they have the ability to not only pay their debts, but create long-term wealth almost overnight. Sure Cage had to do a few movies and maybe he wouldn’t have done otherwise, but so what? It’s not like he was tortured doing those movies, and he’s back to being super long term wealthy today. Again, he was able to do so while maintaining his wealthy globetrotting lifestyle. So no, we are not “better off” than either of those super wealthy individuals.

@@carl.rankovic True, proper asset allocation is critical. Furthermore, some folk employ hedging strategies or devote a portion of their portfolio to defensive assets that perform well during market downturns. How else is this achievable except through expert guidance? So far, that’s how I’ve stayed afloat over 5 years now, amassing nearly $1m in return on investments.
