My taekwondo instructor fought him at the U.S Open. Great guy, I've met him and Mark Lopez at a U.S junior olympic tournament I was competing in. I guess I got a fraction of Steven's TKD magic, since I ended up winning gold in Atlanta. Best memory ever.

Unfortunately this lopiz family dominant about Taekwondo US national team for many years and they never give the opportunity for next generations who have better skills, technics, dream and ambition. I assure you they will not win the gold in the olympics Rio 2016 just because of their old technics they use and old age of the group of lopiz family taking over the US natinal team. and because of their selfichness . trust me I am the expert of Taekwondo in NF and ERP. and I know what I am talking about!

Exactly what i have been saying! His performance in Rio was terrible. In his first fight, he is awarded 2 point out of no where after some language barrier from the opponents card call which was a shame. Then in his second fight, he won after a judge call. He was dominated in his final fight, how he got there was a lot of luck.

+You Thought : US Teakwondo national team is weak because of LOPIZ FAMILY . They should resigned and let new coaches and new team and new generation to give more for USA. I do not know who give them the right to keep dominant about Teakwondo in USA and only their own family brothers and sisters represent national team. they seem inherited it! sucks!
