Jimin is Taemin's best friend group, just like EXO's Kai. When Taemin appeared on SUGA's talk show "SUCHWITA", Jimin said that his dance style was similar because he admired Taemin and was a role model. By the way, SHINee debuted 5 years earlier than BTS.Taemin debuted at the age of 14, so he's the same age as SUGA. They both have a delicate voice quality in common, but Taemin's personality is quite different because he is good at emotional and dynamic singing.

Taemin is an original. Maybe Jimin was inspired by Taemin but I think they are very different. Taemin is one of the most distinct kpop artist. 2nd gen produced a couple of artists that have very distinct feel to them that aren't easy to replicate. Something about the 2nd gen - GD, CL, Taemin, TOP, Hyuna, etc.. I was more into GD and TOP and CL during 2nd gen but I respect Taemin a lot so i follow his activities and I'm happy about his career's longevity.👍

Taemin came out first (2008 with Shinee, 2014 solo.) So you are comparing Jimin to Taemin, not the other way around. Taemin is who Jimin and most of the following generations wishes they could be. And can't be, because Taemin is a genre all unto himself just as Shinee is. Taemin comes from a group in which EVERONE is an all rounder, not just one or two people. And Taemin like Shinee can SING live while dancing hard.

I am new to K-pop . But I had heard of BTS & only few of their song. Recently When I heard jimin’s new solo song from muse who, I felt it was a bit underwhelming for my taste. I was called a hater and was attacked by 100 of so called armies as if I committed a crime and was told I should close my account and never come back!! I then realised how immature the so called armies are! They are offended if the other person doesn’t agree to their opinion and like a herd they attack as if their sole purpose in life is to defend their idol!! I think it’s more like a cult than fans who wants their idols to grow and improve!

Taemin is known to be the Dancing king in kpop & to be the MJ of korea . A lot of idols are fans of him (some who've debut before him & after him) he've work once with Jimin but even if i see what you mean they are really different , taemin is really unique( i wish you will stop comparing other artist to BTS members cause even if i love them their fans (not all) but most are known to be toxic so they will all say that the BTS member are better ..Blablabla (& most of the time this peoples don't know other kpop artist & don't respect them)

I am new to K-pop and when I said I didn’t find the new song which is one of the few song by BTS , jimin’s who very underwhelming, I was attacked by 100 of so called armies as if I’m a criminal and called a hater!! I like your reactions before, but with this, I feel insulted. How can you compare Jimin to Taemin as a performer, when Taemin started as a soloist just less than a year after BTS debuted? Comparable maybe with their dancing as they are both dancers, but to know not the history of Taemin as a dancer and as a total performer and compared him to a newbie soloist is a biggest insult, and not a complement.

taemin is a thousand times better singer than jimin, jimin is always out of tune. they are definitely not the same. Taemin is deeper with the intensity and feelings in his songs and the rawness he can embody. jimin has none of that. Guilty is the most taemin song he has done so far. Taemin himself described it as "Cliché taemin".

Exactly. In terms of vocals Taemin is light years ahead of any of his friends who happen to be main dancers in their respective groups. Also Taemin’s dancing style, dark, heavy themes and emotional depth and intensity are very unique to him. There’s literally no one like him.
