There's plenty of videos about the fear/danger of the dreaded 4-bar loop. I like this video series because it focuses on the positives of a 4-bar loop and how it lets you create the central theme of an eventual 2 minute track. Can't wait for the next part :D

Thanks a lot for this and actually all your videos! I like how you're explaining each steps and how it'll change a mood of a track overall. And all those little tips about how to use compressor or tuner or whatever plugins - it's just a brilliant thing. Because if I'll just listen to endless explanation about multiple plugins in a row, eventually i'll not be able to use any of them because all this info just overwhelming and I don't even know yet what I exactly want to use. But as you gives some info about this and that one after another it is actually encouraging to try it and play with it. Thanks again, Taetro!

at 24:47 would you call that technique when you stretch the lalala vocal sample backwards, i ask because im on protools and when i do that i just brings in empty space, when u did it it brought in notes in a different order idk i missed something or what is going?

Great tutorial. Loving this series. Can you describe more in depth the pros and cons between using drums as .wav on the timeline versus using a drum rack? I like how the drum rack allows me to save my favorite drum sounds, but what are the limitations?

How do you create songs without thinking about other songs. Like, everytime i try and make melodies or beats, i subconsciously unknowingly make a melody thats already made. Songs u listen to will obviously get stuck in ur head. Its really hard to unhear it or seperate from a good song, especially the catchy ones. Its hard to think of creating ur own.
@Taetro3 жыл бұрын
I am always thinking about other songs that I like while creating music

Work within your limitations. Maybe build your percs in a separate project and consolidate them to a single track
