I met Brendan Grace in the airport a few years back and I was talking to him about Father Stack. He did his "ya dirty fecker" line. This role for Brendan is the complete opposite as he's renowned as a clean comedian, his shows were very family friendly. So for Irish people to see him like this was a shock but fantastic. That's why it was voted number 1 because of Brendan Grace. Poor Brendan Grace died last year which was very sad. I love this episode too, but my favourite by far is the Tentacles of Doom with the three Bishops.

I think Father Jack on the lawnmower is a reference to the country singer George Jones. It was alleged that his wife, Tammy Wynette hid all the car keys to stop him driving into town to go to bars so he took the lawnmower and was stopped by the police on the highway for being drunk in charge of a vehicle. I cant wait for you to review the episode with Gemma Craven as the author who comes to visit Craggy Island and Ted develops a bit of a crush on her. It also contains Mrs Doyle's finest moment describing her books.
