the last ever episode, and the season 3 finale 'Going to America' is one of the best episodes, so it is good that you save probably the best till last. And love the montage of clips at the end of the episode, that finishes off, possibly the greatest comedy series of all time, perfectly, I really hope you enjoy it

Churches don't get taxed in the UK but they barely make money in the first place. My church held so many low-budget fairs and gatherings because the building was always in disrepair and needed work done.

How many of us have had a long all night drive like that? For us it's usually on the way to Dublin for a weekend. Usually you’d get a strip of 5 tickets. You might be able to choose the colour but not the numbers. I think in the episode, it was done this way for simplicity

This was the last episode filmed before the actor who played father Ted died. I'm not sure about taxes and churches, but i had a friend who served as a minister and they receive a stipend to pay for living expenses but they aren't paid a wage
