Sometimes it's good to just travel light and go backpack fishing. But Graeme uses two fishing rods, some bait and tackle and heads off down the river alone with his backpack. Travelling along the English Countryside Graeme tries to target different species of fish using different fishing techniques. He takes with him a float fishing setup and a Pike Fishing setup. Not only does he give fishing tips along the way, but he hooks into so many fish too! We hope you enjoy this video and keep an eye out for Part 2 which comes soon...

You wouldn't catch a Northern Pike in that small stream here in the US lol. We do have smaller pike though in our ceder water lakes,ponds and streams. The ceder water comes from all the ceder trees. The water looks like tea. It's really neat looking.

There is usually deeper pools by bridges from my experience. It has something to do with the way the water flows around the bridge that it creates deep pools. At least that's how it is here in the states.

Yes,I guess there is is,but with KZbin cutting films with demonetisation there is no incentive whatsoever to go out and invest anything whatsoever in things like radio mikes etc. So I just plod on with whatever I can.

Thanks for replying, its a crazy world and nothing makes sense, you would think that giving good sporting content and entertaining many thousands would be enough for them to look after you financially and to give you incentive, this will probably annoy you, but any chance of getting sponsorship?

Graham, I have tried umpteen times to go fishing with a minimum amount of tackle but I always end up carting tons of gear about. What do you put in that very small rucksack and would you consider that amount of tackle suitable for a days fishing on a lake ?
@byson8653
@byson8653 6 жыл бұрын
David Hull hi I'm not Graham but I can answer your question I was the same as u and I took a boat load of gear with me every time I went but now I'm a minimalist now and it's much more fun u can move from spot to spot so easy and comfortable makes things much easier all u need to do is take the mane things with u and all I do is take plenty hooks few lures just in case few floats all in a small tackle box all fits in a bag pack and I have a very small seat that folds up and I take my mane rod and I always take a nice small but strong rod just in case things get good and there a few big fish but all in all I can carry everything with ease no messing about makes things easier and more fun.
