This game had so many cool gameplay "features" and "quarks". 11:23 The ability to wreck BOTH characters at once if you happen to catch them before they leave. Let's not forget the unique tag throws you could do. I used to love finding out which pair of characters had unique animations.

The thing I miss the most about Tag 2 is probably the color orange. Literally in Tekken 7 you can not select the color orange. You can get orange-ish, brownish orange, or dark yellow. Even in the color pallet block. They made customization so bad in this lol

I downloaded this game 2 years ago and I still play in a regular basis, this is the reason i wanted to actually "learn tekken" and i've gotten better but I've never been able to past the green ranks, but your videos have actually helped me a lot to learn the match-ups and I do much better now. Am I the only one that feels like the combo damage in this game isn’t as bad as people try to make it out to be? You can do some pretty insane combos in T7 especially with Akuma/Geese(with meter), anyone on Howard Estate, the Kings on Forgotten Realm, etc. I think the problem is more risk vs reward than combo damage in TTT2.

Loney Lovelace no tekken 7 has higher combo damage. Main man just didn’t like this game so he bad mouths it. U watch the gameplay for 5 minutes you can clearly tell they’re is a discrepancy from what mainman was saying and what actually happens. Rage was a little broken tho. Keep in mind not every character had wall carry like in tekken 7. Maps were also bigger. Which meant most of the time you weren’t hitting the wall while in tekken 7 you’re always hitting the wall. Combos do more damage usually in T7 because you’re always hitting the wall. In T7 max damage combos usually have the most wall carry this wasn’t the case for tag 2. Wall carries combos did less damage until the point of hitting the wall. While T7 combos do max damage and wall carry

Try Wang and Armour King. It's a really good team. Personally, I try different teams to see how they work together and create different combos. If you want, try Jack and either the Kings. Or even Ganryu ane the Kings.

Reasons why people still play this game. Reason 1. All Tekken characters there and available. Reason 2. No armor moves, ragearts. Reason 3. More depth, you can fanboy t7 as much as you like (i like t7 more then tag2 aswell) but you can't tell me that tag2 has less depth.... cause it doesn't, tag2 has more depth (one would say too much). Some like that. Reason 4. Ermmm it's a tag game and tekken 7 isn't, untill tag3 comes out people will still play tag2, nothing weird about that.

D GASH this is the most balanced tekken game. All the characters were so balanced together that the game tier list was based on character strengths but character synergy. For example Lars from tag 2 would b bottom tier in T7. But he’s the best character in tag 2 because he covered characters flaws. (Mainly damage) Lars by himself was shit and bottom tier, but since his combo synergy was so good. Since u had 2 characters it made match ups better because one of ur characters could compliment the flaws of the other. Making the game overall more balanced

HueyUchiha by himself he was. As a solo character he didn’t have much. Lars is a buffed version of himself in T7 minus df2. And he’s bottom tier. Giving him a df2 will not make him much stronger. His df2 was minus 10 or was a decent move at best

Miss the customization Miss the music Miss the time i could play steve fox and do peekaboo dempsy rolling anytime i wanted Miss the changing room music Miss tag throws ........Miss suimsuit Leo??? Miss character intros and outros and rivalries and small things like that . This game suffers from having to much depth while having to much cheese at the same time. People find it difficult enough remembering the dozens of moves in Tekken 7 they have to remember frames and counter for and TTT2 didn 't make that any better with the pointless copycat characters. Also is it just me or was the girls hotter in this game??? Miharu, Lili, Asuka, Zafina were fucking smoking in this game (and the character panels O.o)
