HI KURT! We really got carried away watching your vlog today. We were on the verge of tears and got so emotional, too. It is really inspiring to see you dedicating your time and effort to what brings you joy. For some strange reasons, we were taken aback when you mentioned that you were planning to migrate to the Philippines and leaving behind your career and family in the US. Moving abroad is something you should ponder carefully about. It will be a great adventure and a great challenge. So, before you take the big leap, you need to be well aware of what to expect from living in a foreign country and decide if it’s the right choice for you. My twin sister and I have been working in the medical field for almost 27 years now. We had worked in the Philippines and UK, and currently here in the U.S. Having a vast and diverse experience working in different hospitals and different countries, we can’t help but compare the pros and cons. Truth be told, medical emergency in the Philippines does not exist. When there is a life-threatening situation, it would take an hour or two to get to the hospital due to the worst traffic congestion. Not to mention the brutally high out-of-pocket healthcare costs but suboptimal quality care. We’re not trying to look down on the kind of healthcare system that Philippines does have but those are the major issues that should be addressed and should be focused on improving. Honestly, healthcare here in the U.S., though there may be some shortcomings but by far one of the best when it comes to technological advancement both in science and medicine, the emergency response system and healthcare accessibility for everyone. Just a small piece of advice, you don’t have to migrate to another country and leave everything behind just to make meaningful vlogs. We, your avid and loyal viewers will always be there to support you, no matter where you are. We have always admired you for creating vlogs that we can resonate with. You can also showcase the beautiful places in Utah and other National Parks here in the US while speaking Tagalog. Filipino people who haven’t traveled to United States yet would also appreciate it if you do a virtual tour of all the beautiful places here in the US. You have already found your unique voice and you have let it resonate with authenticity and passion. The landscape of vlogging is vast, but with the right strategy and dedication, the road to One Million subscribers is definitely attainable! Hangad namin ang iyong tagumpay, Kurt!🙏❤️💕❤️😍😍❤️💕❤️🙏

For your non-filipino viewers, just an fyi we Filipinos don't use chocolate, as in ready made chocolate, for champorado we use cocoa powder and we add sugar to taste. Milk is for creamer topping when serving. We admire vloggers who chose to spot our cultures to the world as a way to educate. Kudos bro and thanks.

It’s refreshing to see you like this Filipino breakfast. Boy, this is definitely the sweeter version. The recipe I grew up with is to use sugar in the preparation. Then pour evaporated milk on the porridge right before eating it. We didn’t eat it with condensed milk. But since you have a sweet tooth this will probably suit your taste better. It’s all about preference.

Watching you eat champorado with tears welling up your eyes made me remember something very similar it hits home...We used to be very hard up and there was this one time when my sister came home, very tired and hungry from work...she asked what's for dinner...I told her it's champorado. She frowned and started scooping up some then she sat on the couch sobbing while trying to have a spoonful. The reason she cried wasn't because it's champorado but because we also had the same for dinner 2 days prior. She just felt sad that we had to settle for the same meal to make ends meet.😢
