I can say with 100% confidence that a nap in the woods, in a hammock (of any kind) is the BEST sleep!! :) there's nothing like it! .. Well, except when you wake up because the dog is freaking out at the momma bear with 2 cubs walking into camp.. Lol .. That is NOT a fun way to wake up.. :) that's what you get for being a decent cook, sometimes EVERYBODY wants to eat it! ;) ha!

11 years later and it is still a watchable entertainment video with methods and means to be copied and modified. The alligator farm here in Colorado is over the divide and into the next big valley near the sand dunes. Been by there a few times but never stopped in. They raise tilapia there and the alligators get the byproducts. You have improved your video and teaching techniques over the last decade but the basics are still the same. Thanks for another great video.

Sounds cool. I bet the scouts will love this. Not only is it a fun way to cook but its a very easy way of cooking quite a bit of food for several people. The bungees make it very easy to set up and even easier to adjust over the height of the fire. If you cant make a ring all you need to do is drill small holes in the lip of the bowl to attach wire or small cables to then attach to bungees. Good luck and thanks for watching my friend.

It was delicious! The pot stand really works well. When you just throw a pan in the fire it sometimes smothers the coals. Having a stand lets a little air under the pan to let the coals keep going. @69Phuket Yes, thicker chop board and logs would have been better but, I wanted to try that little stand thing to see how it worked as a table. Its actually part of an alcohol stove stand I was making. The roll up sutting board weighs nothing. I glad you find this interesting, Take care and thanks for watching my friend.

@masterwelder65 I got them at lowes. I got sick of ruining bungee cords on trees so, I made some cloth protective sleeves out of camo fabric. After the I closed the sleeves up on a sewing macine, I slid them over the bungees then hot glued them to the carabiners. They dont get tore up as bad now. I only use the good bungees with carabiners, never the plain ole hook kind. I had them come undone too often and hit me in the eyes or face. Thanks for watching man.
