I remember having no cell phone signal on the day this music video was released because I was in the countryside, the next morning I went back to the city and went straight to my jiu-jitsu class and the moment my cell phone connected to the gym's wifi there were A LOT of messages in my friends' group chat, screenshots and KZbin links and I was like WTF IS GOING ON??????? This is one of my fav videos Taylor has ever made. All of the Swifties (myself included) are going feral for Rep (Taylors Version) to be released 😂 There are tons of easter eggs in this video, but my favorite is the single dollar bill that is in the bathtub of diamonds. In 2013, Taylor was at a meet and greet event, and was SA’d by a radio dj, in which he was then fired. He ended up suing her for millions, so she counter sued him for assault for $1. She won the case. I love your Taylor reaction videos ❤

There are so many Easter Eggs. The bathtub scene references the lawsuit she was involved in-a DJ sued her after she claimed he grabbed her ass during a photo op ("you said the gun was mine" means you claimed I was the one who did something wrong), so she countersued for $1 (there is a one dollar bill next to her in the diamond bathtub) and won. She says he never paid her the dollar.

Lots of personal references in this video. T in the bath tub with diamonds, is a reference to Kim getting robbed of all her jewelry at gun point and found in the bathtub. The dollar by her shoulder is about the Colorado court case that she won $1 by counter suing her sexual assaulter. The snakes are a nod to all the snake emojis that were sent to her and the # TaylorSwiftIsOverParty thanks to Kim. The dance scene was for all the people who said she couldn’t dance. The car crash with the Grammy, T is dresses like Katy P and Katy doesn’t have a Grammy. At the end, all the Taylors are lined up, she calls herself a bitch and that’s a reference to Kanye calling her a bitch in his song Famous. Another Taylor mentions “editing”a phone recording later, that’s Kim too. There is probably more Easter eggs that I’ve missed. I understand what Alex is saying. They only two songs on this album I far prefer the studio recordings/MV to live performances of are Look What You Made Me Do and Delicate. The crispness of the production on the album version/mv turn makes it go SOOOO much harder! The live version is great, btw. I just prefer the studio one. In performances, I especially loved the Era's tour transition from Don't Blame Me with that hard guitar. And on that performance, she screams "CAUSE SHE'S DEAD" which is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 compared to the MV and studio version. Fun watch as always guys.
