I was surprised and amused by that as well. But after watching it a couple of times and looking more closely, it looked like a kid who was asking for food and that kinda broke my heart a little. Sorry for being such a Debbie Downer, but that region of the world is so severely impoverished that when I look at situations like this through that lens, I can't help but view them from an entirely different perspective. It certainly makes me appreciate what this channel has done/is doing for our four beloved "tribal uncles" and how significantly it has changed and improved their lives. They deserve every little bit of it. 🙏

I'm really enjoying this series showing us all the traditional food, drink and daily life. The men are frequently comparing the food they are given to eat to something in their everyday lives, now I know what they're talking about.

These 3 minutes 37 seconds represent the daily life of almost every city in Pakistan: 01:55 : Rickshaw narrowly missing a family walking by and a car. (Happens every few minutes) 02:02 : Almost at the top right you can see a begger (If you are eating and they see you, run! don't sympathize because he/she might be more richer than you) 02:09 : A grand father giving piggyback to his grand daughter. (Adoreable 💞) 02:17 : 2 cops on bike, with 2 (most probably) criminals sitting in between them. (So that they don't jump off the bike) 02:35 : Man riding bike while placing his phone between shoulder and his ear. 02:45 : A man pushing his broken down rickshaw (you will see that a lot here) 02:58 : Do I need to explain? 03:15 : A worker massaging back of his co-worker Despite of everything, my country is beautiful with most amazing people ❤ Do visit Pakistan whenever you can, you will start seeing life differently, in a good way.

When I didn't have a lot of money, a local Indian cafe (here in Canada) had a lunch special with 2 aloo paratha and some raita for less than a fast food burger. He's right about how filling they are! I could eat both for lunch and not need dinner. Sometimes even had to save the second one for later because one was enough for lunch. My landlady now is Indian and she makes them for me sometimes because she knows I love them.

This was a fascinating video - not only watching the cooking of the paratha but watching the chaos and bustle in the background, 4 guys on a motorcycle without helmets, mobile phones, a disabled man, another being chased by a stick.
