Queen Elizabeth became queen because when her father is my died it was either his brother or her older brother had to advocate the throne because they fell in love with and married someone who was not English and or had been divorced Anne was not of royal or noble blood! Princess Dianie's father was an Earl which made him nobility and gave Diana the title of Lady Diana which then met Charles could marry her because she was not a commoner. Then they changed royal standards because William his wife Catherine Princess of Wales because they're next in line to be king and queen they get the title of Wales. Ever since a path king of previous king of England went to war against the country of Wales after winning the war they annexed Wales onto British and made his son Prince of Wales. Therefore, Britain consists of England Scotland Ireland and Wales. The Queen's husband could not be king he was a Duke. From what I understand Prince Harry is the Duke of Sussex his wife is Meghan Duchess Sussex. When Prince William becomes king, his son will become Prince of Wales no matter how old he is about 8 years old. They really let go royal protocol when Prince Charles was allowed to marry Camilla and now, she is queen Camilla.
