You dont have to say PO if you are in the Islands of Visayas and Mindanao where most people only speak Cebuano and not tagalog. And also, Cebuano people dont like to speak Tagalog. We prefer to use our own beautiful dialect and we are proud of it😁

In Bisaya we don’t usually use Po and Opo, but the polite way/act of respecting is by using ATE, KUYA is Enough. Using PALIHOG/MAMALIHOG (means PLEASE) when you’re asking for Help/Something . And Saying SALAMAT (thank) ATE/KUYA/GANG/MANONG/MANANG/NAY/TAY when they Helped you. Or Even a simple gesture of Smile and slightly bend your head/ nod down slowly to bypasser/passerby. They will smile back at you for sure.

As someone who grew up in the Philippines at a young age, I missed these kinds of lifestyle, this one you are in particular; I've always wanted to go to islands and just prepare a trip locally.. My point of view of vacation and spending it with family was never experienced, living in North America, just does not have the same feeling.

i have been waiting for this vlog almost 2 weeks from the last one, time flies and i saw/followed you on your insta and seems you are back in thailand...great narration, the shots are awesome, and we are glad that you enjoyed the adventure though island life has its limitations like power water and access but its part of the adventure though i am not romanticizing the difficulties we are making it up with our hospitality but i hope the Philippines will be like Thailand in the future in terms of better governance...goodluck tah on your next adventure

The rice ball covering is shaped almost like the human heart. And, "puso" means heart in Tagalog. Unlike "krap" and "ka," which is a sign of respect in Thai, "po" is usually used, but only in the Tagalog language. Visayans don't use it.
