It's been fun watching the two of you hike together. A little tip if you hadn't thought of it: when there are no leaves to use in a slow flow, you can use your trowel to direct the water.

"one of my favorite things is to get out early when it is still chilly and everything is quiet and the animals are awakening, being in the hills and seeing the trees, hearing the birds chirping, seeing the sun through the trees and the water looking like glass - I love these moments by myself" ........ meanwhile, Dyana is still on top of the mountain trying to get her broken tent back together. That's sure happened to me. You get to a saddle or peak and it's beautiful and there's no wind. So you set up your tent. And sometimes it even stays calm! Or as soon as the sun is down the wind comes and it doesn't seem so bad, so you stay, but as the night goes on the wind gets stronger and stronger. . .

My pad was fine for warmth up there because there was no snow. But it was absolutely freezing cold at some points. Brrrrrr
