Congrats! We also just purchased this boat and have only had one trip in it so far. I agree that the cleats are a bit small. We ordered the stainless steel cup holders with drains that really upgrade the look on the boat and were not expensive. Also, I'm looking at some nice decking. We have the smaller motor but it goes fast enough. I would have liked the 75 but it would have driven the price up as the boat was "as is" for the sale. We took it down Mullock Creek and into the back bay behind Fort Myers Beach, in Fort Myers, FL. It handles like a dream, turned well, and everything worked great! Very comfortable. We also got a great deal on a Garmin Echomap chart plotter and will be installing it soon! We just love this little boat. It was actually a downgrade from an old 18.5 center console "Answer" boat and the T16 handles just as well. Very easy to trailer and to launch on the boat ramp. I hope you're enjoying yours. Good afternoon Carolinerothenberg, we didn’t even think about getting different cup holders thank you! Growing up on Long Island NY we were always on the sound and ocean! I was never on a lake with a boat, I will not lie we love it for us it’s perfect for all the reasons you mentioned! I’m happy to hear that it handles well on in the bay/ocean! Kendall we did the same thing we did some research went and look at the packages and fell in love. It is not a fishing boat, so it’s a little hard to get set up! But it works. The front two coolers hold ice so far on the hottest of days, and the radio is gets very loud,the Bluetooth is easy to set up.

Nice video- I use the T16/75 as a ski boat and it's fabulous. Soft wake, pulls a 200lbs skier on one ski out of deep water. yet no videos on the ultra fun, affordable little boat .

I recently went down two prop sizes and the result is 5620 rpm, factory is like 5375 top rpm to help with the hole shot with a loss of 3 mph 40 to 37. It helps for water sports .

Good morning MustyJonesy , First congratulations you will love it!! Go slow take your time it will get easier the more you do it. Make sure you have the drain plug in and you will have no issues. Personally I was the same way I went to the lake during the week when it was slow and just practiced a few times backing the trailer down and unhooking the boat and hooking back up.. Worst thing you can do is underpower a boat. I see these things being packaged with 50's and 60's and I cringe. The T16 weighs 1250 pounds! I had a 16 foot bowrider that weighed 900 pounds and was rated for 80hp but came with a used 60hp Johnson. After 5 years I had issues with the motor so I upgraded to a new 90hp Merc 2 stroke and the boat flew. Even with a bunch of people onboard. Like a completely different boat. @@joesoutdoorexperience

We're about 5 inches away from purchasing one of these. Credit app is filled out. The one question left remaining is how this boat is on the ocean. I live on a chain of lakes in central FL and the plan is to have a dock in my backyard, hop on the boat and drive it to the Gulf of Mexico and then down the FL coast to wherever, but just want to know this boat is as good on the ocean as on a lake. Anyone have ocean experience on this boat?

Good evening Jose it does very well on fuel, we have only been running non ethanal in it. Monique and I will go out for a few hours at 3500-3800rmp around 25-30mph and we can get about 3 trips out of a tank. I will be going out this Friday 28th I can find out about how many hours to a tank if you would like more info?

One bad thing I hear is that it doesn't have interior foam, so it sinks pretty fast. Not sure about that, but I'm curious. What you think?

We use ours in a lake, if we were to go into the ocean I would only trust it in a bay, gulf ,or harbor. The front seems to sit low but you can balance that with the trim. LOL I don't know too much about them sinking not something I would like to find out haha!

Good morning Kenneth hope all is well. One of the dealer programs if your credit score was over either 725 or 750 I cannot remember there was no down payment. We paid $1200 for tax, title , boat and trailer registration, DMV fees for the trailer, custom registration stickers. Our monthly payment is $305 and that is with the extended warranty option they offer. Our boater insurance is $300 for the year. And roughly $50 to fill up from empty 13 gallons of non-ethanol

Hi Hollywoodeatsordrinksit, first im sure you will love it! As per the motors not sure on the Tahoe how similar they will be. From my personal experience with an inboard on my parents 28’ bayliner. The outboard is so much easier to dock, and I have docked other outboards ranching from our little T16 to other 20-26’ center consoles.
