What an outstanding introduction to Tai Chi - warm and welcoming and reassuring and clear. I'm 71 - and over the course of my life, I dabbled in several martial arts. More than once I tried to learn Tai Chi Chuan and -- frankly, soon gave up. I found it too cognitively challenging - couldn't seem to remember the movements from the time I left class to arriving home. A couple of years back, I began to practice Shaolin QiGong and Standing (Zhan Zhuang) at home. A year or so ago, I then joined a new seniors' class offering Tai Chi and health QiGong. I learned the Yang 10! Unfortunately, I no longer have reliable transportation, and so the discovery of your online training is a joy to me. Abundant thanks to you both, and to CSU Long Beach for the gift of this program.

I'm going to a Tai Chi class soon for the first time and your video has given me an idea as to what it's about. I've practised yoga for twenty years but I think that I'll enjoy this new practise. Thank you :-)

If it isn't too long after these 2016 'instructive' vids to subscribe, thank and 'start' ... thank you very much! Especially, your instruction about what the 'walking' is before involving the hands and arms has been very helpful for me. PS. I am a 'horseback riding' person since I was a kid so I really like your 'horse' references, thank you.

Very well explained but... if Veronika were to face you instead of us , it would be easier to imitate and/or follow the motions, at least for me . Thank you for sharing, i am definitely hooked . The Taî Chi greeting ( or something of that nature) should replace the handshake in our society. Thank you from Montreal .
