I train in Bujinkan but this kind of video aptly demonstrates how our different schools are working towards the same goal. Excellent video about the mechanics of these techniques and explaining the finer points of them. Thank you so much sensei for making this video and posting it.

This is good stuff. I particularly like the last variation on omote gyaku you demonstrated. Coming from a Bujinkan background, and currently trying to apply it more realistically like Akban, I feel that in most scenarios where you'd want to control the hand and apply the lock, that would be the most natural and easiest way to apply it.
