Taijutsu is very effective in real-world combative situations! I know this very well as having used Taijutsu techniques as both a Military and Civil Law-Enforcement Officer in the services for two countries. The version of Taijutsu I learned was from my Kyokushin Karate Master Shihan Richard Wolicki. In order to fully get the understanding to master Taijutsu One has to mastering Kyokushin Karate 's Mawash Uke and Shuto Uchi Uke techniques. Which is the Circular Hooking Round House Block in combo with Hook Blocking in combination with Redirecting and using the perpetrator's momentum to screw them into the ground . Circular hook blocking is a critical, crucial element to Mastering Taijutsu. Osu!

Yes that's True! The Taijutsu version that I was taught by our Kyokushin Karate Master Shihan Richard Wolicki stemmed off mastering Kyokushin's Mawashi Uke and Shuto Uchi Uke blocking/ hooking along with Redirection. The Taijutsu was an inner art off the Kyokushin Karate that I learned.

@@slamdeathmetal1 you mean Ju-jutsu and not jiu-jitsu because in Japanese jiu-jitsu doesn't exist. .. jiu-jitsu it's an invention of Americans and Brazilians .... its a made-up word. .. @@luisphilipesilva Psssst, both words are "made up". Japanese does not use English alphabet at all. Both "Ju" and "Jiu" are just approximations, an attempt to spell a Japanese word with English characters. That's all. If we want to be real picky, then just write it with Japanese characters instead.

And why bring it up here? This video is no more related to ninjutsu, as any other japanese budo (bit of an exaggeration). Actually, this particular style is related to aikido, through their common ancestor Daito-ryu aiki-jujutsu. Taijutsu - body technique - is a general term, Bujinkan popularized it, and now every "ninja" thinks its their style, when somebody mentions Taijutsu.
