Tail of the Dragon | Fiesta ST and GR86 | Dusk Run TN to NC

Have you run the dragon since it was repaved?
If so, what do you think of it?
It’s smooth but we think it has less grip. This run is about 90 seconds off our usual pace.
Some of that minute and a half can be attributed to a longer than usual warm up from the overlook to Hog Pin, and some can be attributed to the motorcycle we were behind for a minute 4:30 - 5:30. But we think most of it is because of the new road surface.
