Ghamidi explains philosophy with the touchstone of Quran. He very seldom mentions names with the theories, and this is only my understanding, so as not to appear equating word of God against mere mortals. It's extremely enlightening if you are looking for useful knowledge of philosophic kind.

@Asad Janjua Why would I want to understand philosophy with the touch anything else? Wouldn't it be called contaminated? (Na auzubilah) Ghamidi sahb himself is impressive enough to listen to. It's a shame he was born in pakostan and had to leave it because of fanatics. But philosophy should be understood in its pure form. Yes after that you can always go to other people like Ghamdi sb or taimir sb or anyone else. But at the very base religion and philosophy should not be studied together. It's like water and fire. A social revolution is said to occur when the mode of production is transformed. That means the forms of property, state, and ruling ideas all undergo a transformation.

Huzaifa, evolution involves adaptation and incremental improvement. However not all transformations can occur through adaptation, they require a conflict between opposing forces, which results in old systems being destroyed and completely reconstituted. That is a revolution.
