Also, his Birthright is very powerful, since it makes his locusts stick to enemies as long as you're holding an attack key. When you have like a dozen of them, it melts bosses.

They changed it to where if you abyss an item of lower quality the locust will deal less damage, and if you abyss an item of higher quality the locust will deal more damage (for example; quality 2 items will deal 100% of your damage, so 0 will deal 50%, quality 1 will deal 75%, and so on)

There's one massive, MASSIVE tip for T. Jacob that I'm surprised you didn't mention: if you have Dark Esau chained down and you use Anima Sola again before he breaks free, you can release him early and aim him at enemies/bosses. It's a far more reliable strategy than just waiting for him to charge normally, as you spend less time coordinating his movements with enemy movements. One way I love implementing this is by entering a room, checking quickly whether the enemies are in suitable positions for a Dark Esau charge, then chaining him offscreen and immediately releasing him to wipe out the entire room. It can be tricky to pull off, but if you manage it successfully, it feels insanely satisfying. It's this strategy alone that makes T. Jacob one of my favourite characters in the game.

Another tip for tainted blue baby is if you stand in the creep (weird trail ) you get a tears up and DMG up and if you place a special poop in the creep your tears get the poops effect the burning poop gives fire and explosive shots or the holy poop gives the sacred heart effect

Extremely powerful Tainted Eve tech to consider as well, especially for early floors, the clots deal damage when recalled and can be left in place like Esau. You can absorb your clots at close range to perform a pseudo melee attack in a pinch, but more importantly you can leave your clots in place, flank around an enemy, then suck the clots to you through the enemy. This melts bosses, dealing over 1/3 of most boss's hp in one shot with only a dozen or so clots

Tip for T Eve. Do not pick up rotten hearts. Every time you refresh your clots the rotten heart will be added on top of the normal heart and destroy the normal heart. This will often kill all of your extra clots. Also you can go into boss tap rooms by bleeding your health down to one hp and absorbing back the health when you enter the room.

Just a little tid bit that is VERY useful for t. Sampson, while in berserk, you are unable to die, when you reach zero hearts, you will stay alive until berserk is over, and if you have no hearts and berserk ends, you will die, but in places like greed, you can maintain berserk and when you are about to finish berserk, than you can quickly buy a heart and live

For t.laz, I'd also highly recommend visiting your shops and looking for birthright. You have a higher than average chance to see it thanks to flip and its genuinely the strongest birthright effect in the game, or at the very least top 3

23:51 not only that but u can also enter cursed rooms as tainted keeper in another way, if u have the voodoo item from the shop it guarantees that at least 1 coin will spawn inside the cursed room, making it so that once u enter u can heal back to 2 coins and exit with one coin heart

I recently decided to by Isaac with every DLC. It’s just a great game with great replayability, sometimes really fun and some other times really bad. I found your normal characters guide and decided to watch this one as well; even if there’s some wrong or not completely true information, they are great guides for new players and reminders for veterans. I’m almost 60 hours in the game in just a few days and I’m looking forward to my first Platinum God, then Real Plat and finally Dead God. I also love the fact that McMillen is actively involved in Isaac’s community, answering fan’s questions, he’s so real for that. Love from Italy!

Tainted Jacob tip: Use the Anima Sola to control when Esau charges so you can bait him towards enemies. When he's chained, using Anima Sola will unchain him and make him instantly charge at you, so chain him, position yourself between Esau and whatever you want dead, then unchain him. Learning to do this is essential if you want your runs to last beyond a few rooms.

I think I have something going on with the lost, even when I play as their non tainted variant, I get crazy screen filling nonsense and shred everything that dares stand in my way... Or get killed on the second floor by a boom fly because the explosion hotbox is gargantuan. I wish I had recorded the game breaking build I had this morning, I could fill the screen with tears in one button press and had "lost contact", which made me fully immuned to projectiles. All of this to unlock a bomb item and a chance to find ennemies in my chests.

Getting marks as T Blue Baby is really not all that different from normal Blue Baby, aside from the early game. It's important to remember that the only debuffs T Blue Baby gets are the shit tears and shit speed at the start. Getting tears up and less importantly speed ups allows you to play much the same as normal Blue Baby. The most crippling thing about T Blue Baby is funnily enough the same as normal Blue Baby: No regular health. As for the poop mechanic, just learn it to the best of your ability, it's not the easiest but if used correctly it can be really powerful. Also for Tainted Eve, being my most recent full-cleared character, in my experience luck based items are as broken for T Eve as they are for The Lost, since each clot has their own chance of procking. So if you get Ghost Pepper, and you have like 20 clots on the ground, you'll be absolutely destroying everything at even the lowest stats. I feel that separating what debuffs a character from what their intrinsic abilities are helps a lot when doing the "bad" characters.

Tainted Cain's recipes are different on every seed, but there are some recipes that will never change. For example, if you manage to get 8 Eternal hearts in your bag, you'll get a guaranteed Sacred Heart.

Awesome guide, actually didn't know that T.Keeper gets items from specific pools in the shop :O One thing i want to point out that at 27:20 you mentioned 5 Lemegeton charges equal at least 1 item from the pool of the current room and that is not quite right. Every use has a 20% chance, it does not stack! So you can ""fail"" that 20% every single time and end up with items not from that room pool. Also, the Tainted Eden "locking pools" thing does not work for me, could it be that they fixed it in Repentance+?
