Really nice demo of a really nice saturator plugin, offering some pretty handy creative mangling options. But, as someone who has worked a lot with tape machines of all kinds of vintage and format, I have to say that (except for certain aspects of the colour of the distortion resembling those of really overslammed tape), this sounds nothing like tape - in the sense that if our tape machines back in the day changed the sound SO much, all records would have been a similar, distorted & compressed muck - and we'd have sent the machines straight to the studio workshop for repair and proper calibration. That's not to say it isn't a potentially useful plugin, it is, in the pretty heavy-handed fun way that Baby Audio likes to tackle things. But a studio tape simulator it certainly ain't, no matter what the "AI" thinks. After all, it does start out wrong by making those 2 tape reels in the GUI spin backwards! 🤦🏻‍♂️😉
