You should make some longer duration videos where you just walk through the streets and markets, very few cuts, so we can soak in the atmosphere and practically be there with you :)

Hope you got to enjoy the fruits in Kaohsiung. A lot of the fruit comes from there because the climate allows a lot of different fruits to be grown there. There's also a village named Qishan which is all about bananas. There's also a lot of farmers goods there as well.

Kaohsiung and Tainan are really great places. Taiwan itself has a lot of historical sites that you can visit. Best of all is the food, has to be the food.

I adore Taiwan, I can't believe Westerners don't really travel there. The people are gorgeous, but leave before you get into a permanent food coma!! I remember meeting a lovely sandwich maker when I was getting breakfast outside Taiyuan station- I was there again 2 years later & he actually remembered me! He asked where I was from (at the time it was the Beijing Olympics)- I said Australia. He then said, 'ahhh, Australia (makes swimming motions), China (makes diving motions), and Taiwan....(eating motions)!!!' It was hilarious!

I like how the train toll gates were pretty much like the ones in Japan (including the magnetic ticket), then at 7m44s the buildings reminded me of Singapore HDB flats; that little street was all Japan to me, but the shop fronts before more Singapore again. Tainan sounds like a great place, combining two of my favourite places in one :D
