I'm sure that gazing at the lake from a luxury hotel room was refreshing and enjoyable but you do the area a disservice by glossing over or overlooking the best part, the aboriginal heritage which is most prominent in Ita Thao. For instance, what you were offered to drink in the market was aboriginal millet wine, a local specialty. From Ita Thao it's a short walk along the lake to a cable car that takes you to the fascinating (and culturally education) Aboriginal Culture Village on a mountainside above the lake where you could easily spend half a day or more.

That’s like Magic chicken food, rice and stuff in a chicken drumstick? Perfect meal. Such a pretty looking area and the people seem really down to earth. The boardwalks are a nice touch. Love those. Keeps you guys safe from the creatures. Ha ha that temple was really cool. I think Hayes enjoyed it. So many goldfish. Definitely would enjoy the hotel for sure. Room was nice and big. Views were 👌👌👌 and that tub! Nice work how is the Taiwan beer?

I wonder if that thing with throwing tiles on the floor is anything like the 'i ching' that we used to use to tell our fortunes back in the 60s? I'm an old hippy so I remember this stuff ✌. The hotel and lake were just beautiful. Love the video. 😎

Now that we have arrived at Nantou Sun Moon Lake, why not go to Puli->Wuling. Because Wuling is the scenic spot that can be directly reached by the highest automobile and motorcycle highway in Taiwan.

People throwing those things can be seen in most temples in Taiwan, especially Taoist temples. It’s basically trying to get an indication from the deities to a question you may have. If one facing up, one facing down, it’s an affirmation. If both facing down it’s a no. If both facing up, means they’ve not given you an answer. I’ve never done it myself tho 😅 Also, Taiwanese hotpot is traditionally one big pot to share. However. Many young people prefer to customise and choose their own soup base, hence individual mini hotpot is also quite popular. Been loving your videos, sad to see that the Taiwan series is coming to an end, hope you guys enjoyed your time there.
