India, like those 3 countries, exactly copied the Western systems at the fundamental level of a nations existence. Democracy, Separation of Powers, free speech etc. Economically 2 billion humans have come out of poverty since WW2. Exclusively because their governments joined every capitalist institution America set up, and fought for, after WW2. An economic system even the Chinese Communist Party could join, bringing 100s of millions out of poverty. India was slower to join because of the influence of Gandhi and his spinning wheel idealism. When it joined America's capitalist system, India also brought 100s of millions out of poverty.

Is Trump a Indian Prime Minister? No, then it's unreasonable to expect Trump's return to presidency to directly benefit India. Of course, indirectly, India's rise and US's "cooperation" with India will give it a foothold in South east, far east Asia's and African geopolitics, but that's a secondary objective for USA.

Absolutely not. For some reason if we go to war with Pakistan, US may chose not to supply missiles that will be used in the plane. They may refuse to give spare parts. US is known to manipulate. The US refused to give GPS signals during Kargil war in an effort to support Pakistan. Britain refused to give weapons. Only the France and Israel supported us. We should diversify our purchases but not rely on the US for big ticket items. France and Russia are better partners.
@tapaschatterjee7993Ай бұрын
I will raise a valid point about double standards. The European Union criticizing India for purchasing oil from Russia while importing refined oil products made from the same Russian crude appears hypocritical. It highlights how geopolitical and economic interests often shape narratives selectively. India has been transparent about prioritizing its energy security and leveraging discounted Russian oil for its benefit. Meanwhile, the EU’s actions reflect its own dependence on energy imports, even if indirectly. This kind of rhetoric underscores the need for greater honesty and consistency in global diplomacy. Nations like India are right to stand firm on their sovereign decisions amidst such contradictions.

How dare this pos not mention the 40-45 casualties on the Chinese side - although not acknowledged by the ccp.
