We were blown away by seeing how the tapioca pearls were made - so cool! Also love that style of fried dumplings that stick to the pan and form that crispy layer
@EileenAldis6 жыл бұрын
Me too! I had NO idea that's how they were made. I laughed when I was like 'ok now 100 more' and he says '1000...' 😂 I can't imagine how many actually get made for an average day at a bubble tea shop. And those dumplings were delicious. Bubble tea and dumplings is a good day.

YUM! I watch a LOT of cooking shows….I find them compelling…Like watching a fire! Both of you are not formally practiced…But worked together with such ease and glee….It was pure pleasure to watch! The dishes you chose were a great example of food culture…..Beautiful….Simple…and Tasty! Very impressed with the camera work and editing! It flowed better than most shows on television!

That's cool you took a cooking class in Taiwan. One of best way to experience culture is through food, so taking the class must have added new dimension to experience culture. I've never seen fresh boba being made, neat! Although I think think equally important is the tea itself.. Taiwan has really good tea. Not sure if you visited any tea farms or traditional tea shops.. I will check out rest of your Taiwan videos.

I agree! This was my first cooking class abroad and I've since done in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico too. I really wanted to visit a tea farm but we didn't have time on this trip. I hope next time!

That's a good question but unfortunately I'm not sure what the cost is. I was very lucky that this was part of our trip with Air Canada and so I didn't do the booking myself. I might be wrong but I think normally it's a class of people rather than private lessons though.
@Allaluca6 жыл бұрын
Yea I've actually never seen 1 on 1 classes before, since cooking classes are usually done in groups of many, and 1 on 3 classes are already considered private lessons...so pretty cool ; )
