Those sweet potato balls look amazing! And how they go from a little square to a puffy ball by themselves in the fryer is fun to watch.

For those who had no idea what they're doing 2:00 The first one is called sweet potato ball(not a Poké ball…) The balls are made up of the mixture of sweet potato(or taro) and tapioca starch. This dish tastes sweet and chewy.🤤🤤 4:22 The second one is pan-fried buns. The green vegetables the vendor put inside is called leek or chives, a kind of vegetable that tastes a bit spicy. Ground pork is put into the buns as well. The buns are then pan fried(you could see that the vendor added water on the pan, so actually it's a bit like steaming and pan frying the buns at the same time). FYI, black sesames mean that both meat and veg are in the buns , while white sesames stand for the veg-only buns. 8:27 The third one is called fried oyster. The oysters and leek with batter outside are fried like sweet potato balls. It's crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. Different sauce is also added to create different taste.
