I love Ningxia Night Market. It was the very first night market I went to in Taiwan during my first visit there in the summer of 2014. It's right next to the hotel I stayed at (CU Hotel) which made it super convenient.
@samuelandaudrey7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That is cool to hear. Sounds like you stayed in a great area. We loved the night markets in Taipei and we only hit a few by the time we had to leave.
@PsychoGemini7 жыл бұрын
The area I stayed in (Datong) is a great location. The hotel staff remembered me as I went back there a few more times. The main train station is close and nearby Zhongshan district is great for shopping and Japanese goods/foods. If you ever go back to Taiwan and make it farther south, Fengjia Night Market in Taichung is the place to go. It's so big it could basically be considered its own little district and the food there pretty much sets the standard for all the night markets in the country.

You should try another dish from Tainan, steamed meat balls (Bawan) with shrimp on top, they have them at the first booth of Fengyuan Myaudung Night Market and they also have a very good seafood soup too, for dessert go inside halfway for the iced pineapple drink with almond pudding. Take care & keep up with the new content.

Yes it's also possible since u travel a lot. You can also have food hunt episodes where both of you challenge each other to hunt for cheapest yet delicious food and see who wins. Secondly, u can do simple challenge videos, the one who eats first and fast (can be improvised) will be the winner :)

translation of above: "i don't speak english, but the original coffin bread is from tainan, large and square, there are a lot of various fillings inside (all savory), i'd call this a simplified form" translation of the second short sentence: "xxxxx , this is the sweet form"
台南的棺材板,原始是鹹口味,甜的是後來新創的口味吧,我鍾愛原味,可以去一趟台南 :D Yes, the coffin bread is from Tainan. Original is the best one, maybe plan a trip tainan, next time. Have a nice travel :)

Okay guys. So I have some disagreement in regards to traditional things you all had in this video. So bake potatoes with cheese is from the influence of United States. However, coffin bread is definitely not a Taiwanese thing. But overall I think coffin cake is non edible since it looks unappetizing. Anyways overall a great job for doing this video. Keep them coming and please be more a adventurous eater. 😄

At 6:47, let me explain for you why those scooters still getting into the market from my personal opinion, cause the rules or laws in Taiwan are still a little bit messy, for sample, all those food stands over there are maybe illegal, let's say half of them would be, i guess, back to the point where you asked, sometimes just because someone's house was built before the market be, secondly, some of the Asian countries are very collective, when someone did that, there's the second one, third one, and then forth one would show up doing that without any reason but imitating, this kind of custom also caused the result of positive aspect though, the explicit one is most of Taiwanese are gonna be very friendly to foreigners, this is a good one, anyways, i can't come up with any idea just for now, hopefully, you guys are still enjoying the trip in Taiwan, and remember come back again, we are gonna be looking forward to that, at least i am, have a nice one~
@samuelandaudrey7 жыл бұрын
