Starting to get the sense that this cruise is not as 'ultimate' as it should be. Very short port days and overlly ambitious itinerarys. 'Less is more' springs to mind.

Last year I was in Delhi and and hired a driver to take the trip to visit the Taj and the Red Fort. Leaving the hotel at 5.30 in the morning 2.5 hours to get there, 4 hours in Agra, and 3.5 hours return. I thought this was an epic trip, especially doing this solo! I got back in time to finish packing my bags and get on a flight back to the UK. I would encourage everyone to visit the Taj and Red Fort if they have the opportunity, I had a tear in my eye as I walked through the gates, it took my breath away. Im sorry you missed the Red Fort as the view of the Taj is amazing and to see the development of Mughal architecture to its peak at the Taj Mahal, you just appreciate the beauty a little more.

I have not commented on any of your video/travels although I enjoy them immensely! But I think the most special part of this trip one the Taj Mahal, of course, and two taking photos with the locals there is no amount of money that can take the place of this special moment! 😢 Every person of Indian descent that I have met here in America has been warm, welcoming ,helpful and kind! Seems like RC drops the ball on about 2/3 of the included wonders of the world excursions for you all. Glad you got there, but it seems like they could have given you a bag lunch on the bus instead of having you eat a buffet lunch before taking you to the TM, and skipping the marble mall altogether, then giving you the good dinner after to maximize your time on site.

Hello Mike and Nancy... Despite the tiredness that you had to endure the once in your life experience of seeing the Taj Mahal in my opinion it was worth the 1 1/2 hour...I just enjoyed everything through your experience....so in your opinion is the Indian food different from one area to the other??? Like the spices and the way the cook the food???.wished i was there to taste the food 😁😁😁 when we were younger it would've probably be a piece of cake to travel like that but yeah ...we're not so young anymore we feel the tiredness a little more 😁😁😁 in my opinion just enjoy this world cruise thank you for sharing with us..❤

This is Nancy here and we really experienced very little of India. So I’m guessing if we would go to Northern India such as the Himalayas it would be different. What I experienced on this excursion, and the Indian food they have had on the ship, taste relatively the same to me.

Wow, that was crazy. I think was a sad thing after all the travel time that you only got an hour to visit there. I bet a lot were visiting the excursion desk after that one. We have been on many cruises and when the excursions are not as good as they could be then it leaves a bad taste in the mouth for that place you visit.

There were three total groups that went to the Taj Mahal from the ship and the one that went from a different port didn't have any issues and actually had a much better experience. They eliminated the train ride and went for buses and that got them everywhere on time. So that would have made a difference
