Beautiful home and what a precious couple! I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to sit down with them and learn of all the places and experiences they have had as missionairies! The Lord has blessed their life so well because of their devotion to spreading His word and that home and all their treasures is one way he has blessed them. It just melted my heart when he said they had been collecting antiques since they were 15, they were just meant to be together. I loved all their antiques and how well put together that beautiful house was!

I was wondering, can you tell me what the object is that is shown in one of the bedrooms at approx 35:41 laying on THE SUN newspaper. My hubby and I are very curious what the long wood object it. The wood item on the newspaper is a Georgian pencil - rare with carved dogs head. You wouldn’t know it’s a pencil unless you take the ivory tip off.

What a beautiful home! I love all the antique samplers. As a cross stitcher, I would love to be able to stitch a reproduction of some of those samplers. Do you know if they plan to chart any of them as patterns to sell?

I loved all of the samplers too!! I’m sure they will t be chart g any of them as I do t think either are stitchers. I do have a suggestion though, you may already know but my Mama has found a lot of reproduction samplers on a magazine called “Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly”.

Oh it was an amazing tour! I loved the farmhouse. I studied that plan and it was one of our main contenders to build, then ended up drawing up our own plan. They have done such an amazing job bringing it to life.
