I feel like that auto unfolding mirror is only an issue with the 23 and up. My 22 has the older mirror style and I’m thinking they have never opened on their own. I have to fold mine in to fit in the garage and I’ve made it out of my neighborhood without unfolding them. Now I’ll have to test it.

@ on my ‘22 they stay closed. I think they switched to a new body control module in 2023.
