The prevailing theory is thats Fern's grave. Frieren always likes sleeping on Fern's lap and when Fern's gone she lies on her grave to reminisce those times.

This was one of the sweetest episodes for me. The little moment between Fern and Frieren hit me so hard in the manga even though it was so short and there are much more emotional moments later on and previously. I guess it's the mother daughter dynamic they sometimes have.

The 2nd ED is like the "part B" of Anytime Anywhere by milet, which is the song she made for Frieren. I think it's nice how they made the whole song both ED 1 & 2. Milet's voice is so soothing that fits Frieren perfectly.

When you first watch the show you think it's Frieren asking if they're alright, if they are doing okay and she's telling them about her new found emotional maturity. But throughout the show you can see that her original party knew the road she had to take, even though they'll be gone before she is and they don't have as much time as she does. They don't envy and blame her, understanding the hardship she'll one day endure when she starts to understand and cherish everything as well, and they actually worry about her, asking if she's okay.

hey when reacting to any anime please please dont look at the openings, in general across the board openings, and closings for that matter are INCREDIBLY spoilery. i dont know why they do it but , other anime watchers can attest some openings can outright ruin upcoming segments of anime. nothing is inherently wrong with watching openings/closings but i suggest maybe after the entire season ends, do a reaction video of all opening and closing compilation.
