Everybody raves about the graphics in Microsoft Flight Simulator but I just Love X plane 11 and I hope it never goes away. Thanks this is a great and most enjoyable video. Until next time.

We acquired TBM 850 in FSEconomy for which I use this TBM 900. I love it so much and still enjoy flying X Plane 11 w/ ortho.

Thank you very much for a very good and interesting tutorial. You are as always on a high level of knowledge when you present an aircraft and the TBM900 is indeed a fantastic one.

This video can't be real as you had a solid 70FPS in X-Plane! ;) P.S. Nice video

IRL my dream planes would be one of the following. #1 Daher TBM 900 Series #2 Piper 600SLS #3 Piper 400LS with an upgrade to the Garmin 5000 series avionics. The twin engine Piper 400LS only because I am a little leery of ocean crossing on a single engine. Just my choice not necessity.

The TBM 900 does not have Echo certification, but Foxtrot certification, as it is a single-engine aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 2 - 5.7 tons. Otherwise a very informative video!

Great Tutorial. Thank you! Which ATC Addon is that?
@SimulationChannelDeluxe4 ай бұрын
Thanks, glad you like it :) It's PF3 ATC by OnCourse Software which is mainly made for FSX/P3D and quite tedious to set up for X-Plane.

Thumbs up on all of your videos. Do you have a video on painting a plane ?
@SimulationChannelDeluxe3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I'm glad you like the content :) Unfortunately I'm no painter though, so there's no tutorial for livery creation.

I agree, the Hot Start TBM 900 does feel sluggish. But the MSFS TBM 930 does not. If I were to guess, I would guess Hot Start is probably more realistic but I wouldn’t know for sure. Never flown it for real.
@SimulationChannelDeluxe3 жыл бұрын
Yeah also my joystick controls were somehow screwed up for the TBM, after fixing them, it flies much nicer. Still not as responsive as the MSFS 930, but I also guess the Hot Start is more realistic ;)

Nice video and tutorial as always! Very descriptive even if I don't really like the TBM lol *Quick question when you were starting the TBM at the beginning I noticed a red haze around your screen before the engine started and the other systems got turned on what is that?
@SimulationChannelDeluxe3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. I also noticed that, must be some element of the Reshade preset I'm using.

As I'm thinking about it, actually it might have to do with the oxygen simulation in this aircraft. As there are six people on board and the doors were closed for a long time with no air conditioning on, I guess the air is getting thin which leads to this strange "eye effect". It's called hypoxia afaik.
@gianluigi76192 жыл бұрын
Actually it is the cabin temperature, if its too hot turn AC on or open the door and it goes away. Not the oxy

Great video. Just wondering what are you using for ATC? Thanks again
@SimulationChannelDeluxe2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's PF3 ATC by Oncourse Software. You can find several videos about it on my channel, and it takes some extra effort to make work in X-Plane. Cheers
@IFR_Challenges3 жыл бұрын
Good job. What are you using for an ATC simulation? I believe the video said "PF3-ATC" however the list of plugins in the description did not mention PF3-ATC. please let me know. Thanks.
@SimulationChannelDeluxe3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes indeed it is PF3 ATC by Oncourse Software and I have several videos about it on the channel, also how to make it work with XP11.

Good job as usual, quick question 850 and 900 the same with few upgrades ?
@SimulationChannelDeluxe3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'm no expert with the TBMs and I only know the 900 by Hotstart and the 930 in MSFS, so unfortunately I don't know how they differ from the 850, sorry.

which sim do you enjoy more? I tried MSFS when it first came out but didn't like it nearly as much as XP. I'm sure the MSFS flight model is now better than it was, but is it as good as XP now?
@SimulationChannelDeluxe3 жыл бұрын
Well, X-Plane 11 actually has the more "realistic" flight model (it simulates the airflow over the control surfaces) and as it's way more mature there are really amazing addon aircraft, especially airliners, available for it. MSFS on the other hand looks gorgeous, has photoreal ground everywhere and it gets better and better with every update. In the long run I will stick to MSFS I guess.

Which trees are those?
@SimulationChannelDeluxe3 жыл бұрын
Well actually a good question, I have several addons installed that might alter the trees... I think the FlyAgi HD vegetation is by now included in OpenSceneryX, and SFD Global also has some replacement trees afaik. Also I have the Global Forests payware addon from the .org store, and that might be the one that supersedes the others here.
