I have thought about this for a while. Doors, doors, and more doors. A simple solution would be for Any Store, to have "two" 3 tiered entry or exits for vetted customers, non-vetted customers, or criminals. Vetted customers get a bar code to pass through quickly using entry/exit #1, while "others" have to wait a few seconds between the opening of each door, using entry/exit #2. Example-entry/exit #2: Pass through 1 door, wait, pass another door, wait, and repeat until you are inside or outside. In the case of criminal conduct, the security guard puts the doors on lock down, until police arrive. This would be less expensive and would be a huge deterrent for shop lifting.

I've started shop lifting myself. Thinking I'm slick and clever but the stores actually catch on. Actually quite embarrassing when come to your senses and realize you're actually noticed even tho the staff pretends otherwise. Plus they place cameras at high value areas and multiple stock inventory updates daily, and they'll look at the registers to see if person that grabbed whatever is ringing up and scanning the merchandise. Pretty sure it's circulated around that shoplifters and myself are known/suspected shoplifters. And i can feel it when I'm shopping. I think they haven't stopped me bc even tho they see the pickups but no scanning, they must not have me in view actually concealing it as indisputable proof. And eventually realizing I'm likely busted/noticed I feel pretty stupid and pathetic. And arrogantly i continue going to same stores and doing same things, as if stating they can't catch me in act.
@BreadFred32 жыл бұрын
Walmart, Target and supermarket staff know if they see multiple times. But it all depends on what you're shoplifting. If it's really something minor like drinking a Coke or a pack of sports card, they won't care. Not even loss prevention. They're just more focus on stopping boosters and any full-cart pushouts.
@jessihawkins91162 жыл бұрын
hypothetically 🤔…….the best way is to load up a cart or two with very high dollar items such as baby formula, game cameras, car batteries and such and load a large flat screen tv on top then go out a fire exit with someone waiting outside. Load everything into the car and drive off leaving noo time for anyone to stop you……hypothetically 🤔
@BreadFred32 жыл бұрын
@@jessihawkins9116 Yeah, you can do that. That's what most serial shoplifters do; head out through the fire exit. But most shoplifters do is buy stuff and load the cart with bagged item and hide un-purchased merchandise within in order to get pass the "receipt-checker."
