Something I did not know until this TTI, as a non-participant, is that the players are not piloting these lists through the previous matches. This helps explain to me why certain decks (Krennic in the last one, Rey in this one) can be so over represented. Also explains why decks are not as optimized. This isn’t a critique, as it means the participants are good players and not just good pilots, but it’s still good to know.

@@blakepuente6278 To qualify for the top cut you must go 6-2 or better in your league matches. Once you qualify you submit a decklist that you must use for the top cut. But for the league matches you are not required to have open decklist afaik.

Quick note on Rey In The House. Kylo Ren can be played with ECL. Rules 1.8.6 notes the cost is the printed cost unless stated otherwise. And he runs UWR which could pull Kylo too :)

yes but I don't think that makes him worth it because you have to pay 8 for him. Also card that's don't have an immediate impact on the game are not so good with UWR. On demand admitted himself that it was a mistake on his end.

@@Thorrk_THT Yes, I agree on the On Attack trigger. Then again he could be 8/7 and is the only villany card, so he will give experience too. Still 8 with on resupply not that good true. Let's see what comes out of the meta. Thanks for all the vids and work :)

I‘m a enthusiastic boba yellow player and while sharing your opinion that the deck got stronger I also See that the enemies of the deck also got a huge boost. I mean Most represented in This tournament is a Control discard deck with Aggr Rey. The two things the deck hates the Most due to few cards in Hand and performing Bad against Control Naturally. So yeah deck is strong but i dont see it winning Most of the time against rey discard. If Rey doesnt kill you there is a Snoke waiting to get deployed just on Turn 6/7 without you having your leader thanks to rivals Fall. Your Waylays are reserved for the Client

What's the best way to deal with the steep rise of late game decks?

So far, the best deck that I've been testing, is by far Sabine Yellow. I've yet to refine the numbers of copies, etc, but the additions it got from the new set are insane. Sneak Attack, Heroic Sacrifice, along with Poe, Wrecker, K-2, etc, makes the deck consistently have some crazy turns where you just do like 20 damage out of nowhere, it's insane.

I am pretty sure ECL works with any card with printed cost 6 or lower no matter how much you pay for it. Meaning it would work with Kylo at 8, but even though that works I doubt it is worth including just for that.

pure noob mistake, I hope it work at least with ECL, otherwise I have 3 dead card in my deck that will get ressource 9 time out of 10

That is correct, when any card references cost, it is referencing printed cost without taking into account any aspect penalties.

As soon as I saw Tie Phantom I knew I wanted to try Tarkin Yellow. Still does pretty easily to make an opening, but no guess planning for that you might delay playing it a turn so you can give it a buff.

I love the all breaks only space deck, but I wonder if it lacks some ramp for the big guns.

It's an aggro deck so it doesn't want to ramp, the big cards are either played with triple dark raid or play in very late-game situation.

Does SIP play salacious to kill his own SLT? Of course it has other upsides, but wasn't the SLT killing thing a factor?

Salacious is really versetile in the deck, its a mana sink and comboes well with maklunkee and maul. It's also reliable life gain.

@22.50 you note Kylo as a deck building mistake due to the aspect penalty. This deck doesn't care as its hitting him or Luke off of U-Wing Reinfocement. Coming from a MTG viewpoint, i still think UWR has the highest potential to break the format, and its full potential has just yet to be discovered. I would Nod to the Collected Company Meta we saw back in Inisistrad that saw us go from 2 colour Coco decks to 5 color good stuff piles in 2 weeks.

Yes I made the exact same mistake myself lol, kylo seemed great in green Rey otherwise.

I've won a Store Championship with Sabine, but I just don't get why people ONLY play her. It's such a "shut off brain" type deck that it's fun to have in the pocket, but you're barely playing half the game....
