You've never seen real manga art until you've seen the way Vagabond is drawn. Takehiko Inoue, Hirohiko Araki and Kentaro Miura are probably one of the most talented manga artists alive and they deserve all the praise and credit for their work.

I believe REAL is his masterpiece... Realistic, inspiring, easy to relate characters and the chracter development(and regression) are what makes REAL just a bit better than Vagabond and Slamdunk.

I would love to learn visual storytelling from Inoue. The first time I came across Slam Dunk it was in Japanese and I couldn't understand anything written. I still got so much enjoyment out of the visual story that I didn't need any words. It was just so captivating and hilarious.

I think it's very disrespectful to Inoue that CNN only shown pictures from Slam Dunk early chapters, where he was barely starting. If you compare them to the latter ones, you can see how his skill grew, and if you go to latter works, like vagabond (where a few of his drawings where shown) you can see how much he has grown

If I had to name my favourite manga artists I've ever seen that just make me melt and forget about my surroundings from simply flicking through pages, it would have to be: • Kentarou Miura (Berserk) • Tite Kubo (Bleach) • One (One Punch Man) • Takehiko Inoue (Vagabond) • Makoto Yukimora (Vinland Saga) Just simply outstanding art and amazing series (Bleach fluctuated in quality after the Aizen arc came to a quick conclusion but it doesn't negate his work previous to his decline, just simply amazing art that has been under looked because of the anime which in my opinion, doesn't compare to the manga)
