one thing is for sure in this case.. Lowe cried for himself (the few fake tears he could muster) and not for Bardwell 💯 he just wants out of jail but an innocent person wouldn’t stuff a loved one in a trunk and immediately start sexting and being in dating sites etc 🤷🏻‍♀️ he is pure evil! and he cannot blame the drugs or his privileged lonely childhood 🙄

This needs to be shown to every girl when they are in 8th grade. They need to understand no matter how much they think someone loves them the second they start isolating them from family and friends they've got to run. It will only continue to get worse. It really is amazing that the defense can say the only evidence the prosecution had was Jason saying, "I'm guilty of criminal negligence." - His car that transported her body had decomposing residue. - The car was damaged and part of it was covering her body. - A fitted bed sheet and towels from the house he was house sitting were used to cover her. - He repeatedly informed police, friends and Family he didn't know where she was. - Her death was ruled a homicide - He was using her phone to send messages, pretending to be Jessie after she had died - While her body was decomposing in the trunk of his car, he was sexting and send pictures of his genitals' to other women

Scientists should be doing studies on people who are in jail for these kind of crimes, figure out what is going on when the eyes are blank and hollow and the tears are fake. What causes them not to care or be compassionate towards life? It's a very unwell person to do any of the things he did, especially keeping her in his car for days on end, was he on a drug binge? He probably didn't go anywhere for those 8 days either, something was and is mentally unwell to the extreme.

I agree I couldn't hold back when he started singing the song he wrote to her. I have a daughter that same age and her name is Jessie and it was hard watching this story. I could see my husband going through the same pain because they have such a great bond. I hope her dad can start to heal as much as you can in this situation.

I only have one child, a daughter. I worry all the time about her and I pray often that she’ll always stay safe. But I can only do so much as her dad. I FELT this dad’s grief, and I can only imagine going through this nightmare and how awful this must be for him. This was a tough episode to watch. 😢

If you treat her mother with respect and kindness, and model a positive relationship, your daughter will look for that when she dates. Because women are drawn to what’s familiar. All of my friends whose fathers treated their mothers extremely well, and were engaged in their daughter’s lives and interests and didn’t focus on women’s appearance, ended up with terrific men just like their own fathers.

You are very lucky! I’m sure it turned you a strong person who can navigate the stresses of life. I didn’t win the dad lotto, mine never got the fatherly gene apparently. Too self absorbed to really care about anyone else including his kids.

The father honestly broke my heart into pieces. Sometimes we think we didn't do or haven’t done enough for our children, but the truth is we always do what we can for their sake. Our children may stop us from acting right sometimes, thinking they are wise enough to handle things and that is definitely nothing to feel guilty about; we just want them to be themselves, we want to see them spread their wings and fly. We want them to feel happy and fulfilled at one point. I am sure your daughter understood that you wanted to help her and be there for her, Gary. God bless you for your strength.
