Tip: If you start your ship before you call for permission to take off your ship systems will be better powered by the time the hangar is clear for take of as it takes some time for the power generator to get to full output, shields to charge, etc.

I think decoupling during a slow takeoff will drop you like a stone, these days lol. Love these vids!

I use Voice attack. 3.5 secs on my Voice attack setup takes me high enough to take control my ship and also avoids hitting an asteroid at Grim-Hex :)

I wait until my IVF is lined up before I engage the Qdrive so I don't exit the jump moving in an unintended direction. Does going decoupled to align remove the need for this? If not, I think it would be a good thing to mention. Also, I've found that using right shift to lock my pitch and roll on takeoff helps with the more finicky ships like the Freelancer. It doesn't stop all of the weird stuff on takeoff, but taking it slow and a low throttle is the difference between a successful exit and a stuck or exploded ship.

In 3.8 they changed it so that QT will cancel all previous velocity

you should try to make a guide for huge and capital ships like reclaimer...its super hard to get that thing out of a planet

The steps are the same, but I think you are right that showing the same process with a larger ship would be helpful too.

@@LegacyFleet thursters in the reclaimer are a bit trickier to nail down and harder to fly in atmospher...maybe a vid about that would be great to help newbies comin in and to help get u more subs to ur channel

Would u guys mind to remove videos that r no longer valid or relevant please? Could also put a different title on them to notate it's no longer relevant too. Since so much has changed since this past April, I have seen alot of videos from several channels that are no longer relevant.
