Testing Wireless Mic & Headset with Rodecaster Duo & Streamer X

One of the standout features of the Rodecaster Duo and Streamer X is the ability to connect a headset mic and also direct connection of Rode's wireless mics. The latter is also now a feature of the Rodecaster Pro 2 since it's most recent firmware update.
In the context of the Duo and the Streamer , however, this turns what appear to be rather compact devices into really impressive multi-input audio interfaces.
In the livestream today I'll be focused on trying out the wireless and headset mics to see what the setup process is like, but also crucially what the audio quality is like.... Come and join me on this audio odyssey! (What, too dramatic?)

Rodecaster Duo User using a Steel Series Headset with Shure Sm7B: Is there a way to connect the Steel Series headset directly to the Rodecaster Duo with a bluetooth connection? I've been trying to figure out if there's a way to hear how I sound on my microphone and not the Steel Series headset all while using the headset to listen to how I sound on my Shure Sm7B

Rodecaster Duo User using a Steel Series Headset: Is there a proper way to get a USB A Headset (plugged into the PC) to be tied to a dedicated virtual channel (not to one of the mic inputs)? My question applies mainly to Rode Central, but I’m also curious if Unity can do it, as I can seek it out when required. PS. Your Rodecaster Pro/Duo videos are great, keep it up!

Hello, I just bought the NTH-100M to use as a host with the “Rodercaster pro 2”on channel 1, can someone help or advise as to why it isn’t working, the mic specifically isn’t working, if I turn up the fader on channel 1, there’s an unpleasant sound lol, thank you I used the included y adapter to send mic split to XLR channel 1 and headphone split to headphone 1

@@TakeOneTech I’ve been there too 😜 I don’t do many tech reviews but I do use tech. I’m in the market for a mobile studio to enhance my Panasonic GH5 Mark two. It connects directly to the Internet and streams through RCPM direct me to KZbin but I want to feed in decent audio

Thanks for your informative videos. Have been using an Elgato Wave XLR for my Sennheiser MKE 600, but unfortunately the Elgato gave the unit a lot of noise via Phantom Power. So strongly considering replacing the Wave XLR and Camlink 4K with a streamer X, even if the price is a bit high. Your videos help the decision.
