Whoever owns this property should clean it up, rope off parts of rooms, and start charging for tours. They'd probably make a killing. It's a museum! If it's left to rot and decay instead--that just seems criminal.

For those of us loving the yellow and blue bedroom, it may be the soothing and lovely combination of those two colors repeated in toile. I adore toile and it was the height of decor, originating in France. see wiki link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toile#Toile_de_Jouy This place is extrordinary. Breathtaking! The theatre blew me away. Hi Takiany, I can hardly find words to describe how breathtakingly beautiful this castle is! - Wow, that must have been really mindblowing for you too! This place should be without any question secured and preserved and then later opened as a museum with these fully furnished rooms to the public. What an heritage of great cultural and historical value! - The incredibly beautiful bedrooms and then the chandeliers! A dreamlike fairytale castle! The huge library, these grand rooms with the beautiful embroideries on the walls and the wonderful small theatre! Great! The furniture in detail reminded me of the baroqe or rokoko aera. Of course it could also be the imitation in neo baroque or neo rokoko style; that was quite common in the late part of the 19th century. - But - if it is really legit original baroque and rokoko from the late 17th or early 18th century, then - you can hardly imagine how extremely valuable all these antiques in these beautiful rooms are. But this would of course require some art historical research of antiques experts. - I can now only agree to a number of other comments, that this castle explore is certainly your best one ever! - Bravo! - I wish you more and as always successful explores like this one. Stay safe take care, and greetings to Oemmie too! - Blessings and kindest regards from Switzerland.

I don’t know what I love the most.... Your accent or the castle! Both are breathtaking to say the least. Please make a Part #2. We didn’t get to see the other floors, especially the 1st floor. If it’s a true Castle, I’m sure there are more than 2 floors. This family was obviously extremely wealthy or royalty. I pray nothing sinister happened to them during they’re era. Truly Museum quality. I hope the Historical Society purchases the property before the vandals find it. We know what happens then! This place is a money maker. Or someone could turn it into a Bed & Breakfast. Keep up the good work and I pray for your safety during your travels and exploring. I hope you have a partner to explore with. You should NOT do exploring alone! It’s too dangerous. This IS the most beautiful and well kept Castle I’ve seen so far. Odd part is, the bedrooms don’t seem to match the downstairs at all. The upstairs looks like a few Castle’s I visited in Germany. But, they were truly Castles! Medieval types! This looks more like a Mansion with castle-like rooms. Still beautiful. Enjoy your travel and be are out there. From a new subscriber. Peace & Blessings

Mr.Ralph Gauntlett in Bermuda. This abandoned castle is called Chateau De Fayolle and is located in Southern France. this abandoned castle is located 2 and a half kilometers south of the town of Tocane Saint Apre in southern France. Takiany just to let you know that I have seen other videos of people who have been and explored this abandoned castle years later and I can see that people have been going to this abandoned castle and stealing stuff. Takiany you went there 3 years ago to explore this abandoned castle. Take a look at up to date videos of people who have been there recently to explore this abandoned castle and you will see that the wall hangings in one of the bedrooms is missing as well as in the theater room. In the main hall you can also see that since you went there 3 years ago a lot of stuff has disappeared. Compare your film voltage to the new ones

The valuable antiques, oil paintings, furniture, pocelains, icons. Each & every room full of valuables. Why the family or state doesn't come in, open to public & share with the world. Takiany , You were questioning where the bathrooms were,.. if you take a look on the balcony balustrade at 9:08, you will see six "Chamber-Pots" lined up in a row [and an additional six directly across the Mezzanine]. These were used in lieu of toilets. For convenience, some residences would have a "Commode", [ AKA a folding Potty Chair] in which the chamber pot would be placed or slid into from behind. Some Chamber pots had a lid with them, some did not. If there was not a lid, linen was placed over the top of the pot during transport to dispose of the contents. Maids or servants had the dubious task of emptying and cleaning them. It seem rather curious that the pots are out in the open and lined up as they're shown .. which makes me wonder if the last occupants were using them as plant pots Portable tubs were brought into bedrooms, and painstakingly filled with hot water by the servant for bathing. The tub was typically set near the fireplace and a privacy screen was placed near the tub for both added privacy, and to hold a wee bit more heat in the area for warmth of the bather. In the Theater, atop the Stage Decor is a Sun, which l presume is in honor of Louis XIV the Sun King. I have been looking into purchasing a Chateau or Castle for some years now, May l ask, where this one is located or the name of it?
