Should I ever think about adding narration like everyone else does, or nah?

Some narration could be good when showing things that could use some more info.... I haven't watched many of your vids yet. Found you thru John the PoetWarrior. I see your ankle has healed... that was rough. I can't wait to see more about your Land Cruiser. I'm hoping to pick up some tips and ideas for overlanding camping adventures.

Please no. Look at venture4wd no music no narration and the most epic stuff on KZbin. His vids make you feel like you’re there. If you change make a change in his direction. That’s my two cents anyway 😬

Narration during broll? I think it's fine to let the pictures speak for themselves. You nail the vids so they speak volumes. Let the videography speak for itself.

Ahh, found the comment box. I like the music but also cool to change it up at times. Content: equipment, gear, including installs and specs. I really liked the water container that you tapped with a spigot. Maybe some b roll with how-to on that, where the container was sourced, and brand name. Detailed info is your specialty. Lastly the location, (not GPS necessarily) story behind it. Colorado is rich in history. Some of the landscape appeared to have been damaged by an avalanche or fire- went by quick. Nature, gear, history, music. Magical combination on the way to 1m subscribers :)

Keep the music. It adds a lot to the feel of the video. Some things I'd find interesting in weekenderlander videos: - Packing. Tips, things you found you don't/do need based on past trips, etc. - Setting up camp. Picking out a spot, getting leveled, etc. - B-roll of scenery - Your take on the road to where you are and what type of vehicle you'd need for it. Things like AWD, high clearance, stock. - Vlogging around camp. Gotta get your girl to be less camera shy haha.

I especially like the gear reviews/builds. Watching you use the stuff you promote plus adding it to your description is awesome. Keep up the great work. Tried and true is how I view your channel.

Hey, Mike! If you haven't tried it, try grilling some spam. Goes great with the usual eggs and rice, but you could also make some grilled spam sliders (w/ a slice of pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, tomato slices and some leaf lettuce). Drone footage seems to be what separates good channels from the bad ones - you're one of the good ones of course! Music is a must for driving scenes, it helps sets the mood/tone for the video. That's why director's include a "score" in their movies. I've never had any issues with your choice of music ... I would just be careful to put it over conversations because then it can be distracting.
